Rio Salado Community College

Rio Salado Community College is one of the premier academic institutions, offering on a platter the academic enigma of distance learning. Rio Salado offers to its aspirants distance learning courses which are truly flexible in the real sense of the word. A student at Rio Salado can enroll for Tuesday late evening classes or early Saturday morning classes. In Rio Salado college, classes can be scheduled in accordance with the distance learner's convenience as there are 26 start dates for classes. An instructor is assigned to every course in the Rio Salado Community College distance learning program and communication between the distance learner and the instructor is through print, voice messaging systems, or a conferencing software which is available for distance learners at Rio Salado at no extra cost.

The College's Instructional Support Helpdesk answers questions about the courses, helps the students contact their respective instructors, and provides successful Start Workshops for first time internet students. The American Dental Association presented to Arizona Dental Association on behalf of its partnership with Rio Salado Community College for online Dental assisting.

The US Department of Education gave number one ranking to Rio Salado for awarding more occupational degrees than any other community or technical college. The distance learning program at Rio Salado offers degrees like Associate of Arts, Associate of Business, Associate in General Studies, Associate in Applied Sciences (chemical dependency, public administration, computer technology, dental hygiene, quality customer service) and so on.
